Dr. Jyoti Batra welcomed all the participants. The workshop began at 10:30 AM with an introductory presentation by Bio-Rad. Mr. Sagar Panchal from Bioscreen instrument Pvt Ltd. provided an overview of the multi-mode reader and its application in molecular biology. He introduced the participants to various instruments including the Multi-Mode Reader, Nanoquant, pH meter, Mini centrifuge, Laminar Air Flow, Gel Electrophoresis, Weighing balance, Autoclave, Laboratory refrigerator, and Deep freezer (-20°C).
The workshop content outline was discussed, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and practical applications related to the multi-mode reader.
Participants gained a deeper understanding of the application and analysis using the multi-mode reader. Hands-on experience in handling the multi-mode reader, preparing samples, and running experiments contributed to skill enhancement. Understanding the application of the multi-mode reader for various assays and interpreting results effectively was emphasized. Additionally, opportunities for networking with peers and experts from Bio-Rad fostered collaboration and exchange of ideas. Equipped with practical knowledge and skills, participants are now better prepared to apply these techniques in their research and academic pursuits.
