Established in 1995, the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology is a leading hub for dental education and patient care, offering 100 undergraduate seats. Our department stands out for its cutting-edge facilities, including advanced 3D Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), Radiovisiography (RVG), and digital panoramic imaging, all of which facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Our faculty comprises highly skilled professionals with extensive experience in diagnosing and managing pre-cancerous conditions and oral mucosal diseases. This expertise ensures that we provide comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of our patients.

- Focus on the prevention, early detection, and management of common and complex oral and maxillofacial conditions, including oral cancer, lesions, and infections.
- Utilization of state-of-the-art radiological tools such as CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) for precise diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Implementing programs for oral health awareness and preventive care, including screening for systemic diseases linked to oral health.
- Providing comprehensive care for patients with systemic conditions that affect oral health, including autoimmune diseases, diabetes, and HIV/AIDS.
- Promoting research to explore new diagnostic methods, treatment protocols, and the development of innovative technologies in the field of oral medicine and radiology.
