Overview

Founded in 2013, the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology & Oral Microbiology offers a specialized postgraduate program with three seats available each year. Our department is renowned for its strong student engagement, fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.

We prioritize cutting-edge teaching methods, integrating hands-on experiences with a solid theoretical foundation to provide a comprehensive education. Our student and faculty exchange programs further enhance the academic experience by offering diverse perspectives from across the field.

To date, 21 postgraduate students have successfully completed our program, with many advancing to further studies, showcasing our commitment to academic excellence and professional development. Through personalized mentorship and a rigorous curriculum, we are shaping the future leaders of oral pathology and microbiology, equipping them with the skills and expertise needed for impactful careers in the dental profession.

Dr. Neeraj Grover is a highly respected academician and clinician in the field of Oral Pathology and Microbiology. He holds a B.D.S. and M.D.S. in Oral Pathology and Microbiology, bringing specialized expertise to both teaching and clinical practice. Currently, Dr. Grover serves as the Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology, where he has played a pivotal role in shaping the academic and clinical direction of the department.

With over 20 years of teaching experience, Dr. Grover has contributed significantly to the education and training of future dental professionals. His vast experience allows him to impart valuable knowledge on the intricate aspects of oral pathology and microbiology, fostering a deep understanding among his students. Committed to advancing both education and patient care, Dr. Grover continuously integrates the latest developments in the field into his practice, ensuring high-quality outcomes for patients and promoting a culture of innovation and excellence in education.
