Overview

Established in 2022, the Department of Immunohematology & Blood Transfusion (IHBT) is dedicated to advancing the science of blood transfusion and immunohematology. With a focus on excellence, our NABH Accredited Blood Centre ensures the highest standards of safety and quality in blood banking practices. The department offers a comprehensive M.D. program in IHBT, with 13 seats available for aspiring specialists. Since its inception, we have proudly welcomed 3 students into this vital field, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to make significant contributions to healthcare. Our commitment to education, research, and patient care positions IHBT as a leader in blood transfusion medicine, striving to improve outcomes and enhance the well-being of patients in need.

Qualifications: MBBS, MD (Pathology), Certificate Course in Flowcytometry
Working Experience: 11 years of Teaching experience
