Department

Overview

Established in 1996, the Department of Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) has consistently focused on enhancing patient care while nurturing student growth and community well-being. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our ability to offer a wide range of advanced procedures at subsidized rates, ensuring accessibility to high-quality healthcare.
One of the distinguishing features of our department is the provision of assistive technology for the hearing impaired, addressing an important aspect of community health. We also actively engage in the prevention of noise pollution and noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL), recognizing its impact as an environmental toxin.
Our educational initiatives include advanced cadaveric hands-on workshops and conferences, such as FESS dissection workshops and temporal bone dissection sessions. We employ innovative teaching-learning methods, including live demonstrations, hands-on training, and a dedicated skill and simulation lab, to enhance the learning experience for our students.
To date, we have enrolled a total of 50 MS students and 24 DLO students, reflecting our commitment to producing well-trained professionals in the field of ENT. Through a combination of advanced training, community service, and innovative practices, we continue to make significant contributions to the field and society.
