World Tuberculosis Day Observed by Department of Radio-Diagnosis & Respiratory Medicine
On 24th March 2025, the Department of Radio-Diagnosis and Respiratory Medicine at Santosh Hospital, Ghaziabad, observed World Tuberculosis (TB) Day with the theme "Yes! We Can End TB: Commit, Invest, Deliver" at LT-2, 2nd Floor.
The event featured e-poster and hand-made poster presentations, along with oral presentations by students, emphasizing TB symptoms, prevention, treatment, and global challenges. Posters were judged based on creativity and accuracy, while the oral session sparked engaging discussions through a Q&A segment.
With 52 participants, the program successfully raised awareness about TB’s health, social, and economic impact. Positive feedback highlighted the session's educational value, and future plans were made to organize similar initiatives, including a Radiological and Imaging Nurse’s Day celebration with a guest lecture on Emergency Radiology on 12th April.
