Overview


B.Sc. Nursing is an undergraduate degree program in the field of Healthcare. The duration of the course is typically 4 years, & it is designed to prepare students for a career in Nursing.

The course curriculum covers a wide range of subjects related to Nursing, including Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Nutrition, Pharmacology, & Psychology. The program also emphasizes Clinical Training, which allows students to gain hands-on experience in Hospitals & other Healthcare facilities.

Upon completion of the program, graduates can work as registered Nurses in various settings, such as hospitals, Clinics, Nursing Homes, & Home Healthcare Agencies. They can also pursue further studies, such as a Master's Degree in Nursing or other Healthcare-related fields.

•   To Prepare graduates to take up responsibilities as professionals to be competent Nurses and midwives at a basic level in providing promotive, preventive, curative, restorative, and rehabilitative services. 
•   To Prepare Nurses who can make independent decisions in Nursing situations, protect the rights of individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, and community nursing services.
•   To Conduct research studies in various areas of nursing practice. 
•   To integrate Education, Research, and Practice.
•   To implement Evidence-Based Practice.
•   To follow Ethics in the Nursing Profession.
•   To provide qualitative care by collaborating with other Health Care Team.
•   To execute the role of a qualitative Teacher, Manager, and Supervisor in any health care setting meticulously.

Eligibility Criteria


Essential Qualification:

Candidates with Science who have passed the 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC ) in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together and passed in English individually from any recognised board.
