Industrial Visit to Environ Waste Connections: Enhancing Knowledge in Bio-Medical Waste Management
On March 10, 2025, the Department of Hospital Administration, in collaboration with the Departments of Microbiology and Radio Diagnosis at Santosh Deemed to be University, organized a field visit to Environ Waste Connections, Dasna, Ghaziabad. Led by Dr. Saumya Sajiv Kumar Sharma and Mr. Amit Kumar, 24 students gained hands-on experience in Bio-Medical Waste Management techniques. The visit emphasized the importance of proper disposal methods in healthcare settings. Interactive discussions and evaluations reinforced key concepts, making the session highly impactful. This visit played a crucial role in equipping future healthcare professionals with essential waste management skills.
