Guest Lecture on Pediatric Radiology at Santosh Medical College
On 24th March 2025, the Department of Radio-Diagnosis at Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad, organized an insightful Guest Lecture on Pediatric Radiology at LT-3. With 81 participants including faculty and students, the session addressed the unique challenges of imaging in children and emphasized the importance of safety and accuracy.
Key topics covered included radiation sensitivity in children, the ALARA principle, age-appropriate imaging techniques, sedation protocols, and imaging approaches for pediatric-specific conditions. Ethical considerations and communication with parents were also discussed.
The session was praised for its comprehensive content and interactive approach, with feedback suggesting future enhancements like hands-on training and case-based discussions.
