Guest Lecture on Forensic Ballistics at Santosh Medical College
On 8th March 2025, the Department of Forensic Science and Forensic Medicine & Toxicology organized a guest lecture on the theme “Forensic Ballistic: Uncovering Hidden Clues Behind Every Shot” at LT-4, Santosh Medical College.
The session witnessed participation from 6 faculty members and 123 MBBS students, offering valuable insights into the principles and recent advancements in forensic ballistics. The expert lecture focused on firearm identification, ballistic technology, and linking bullets to weapons, enhancing students' understanding of real-world forensic investigations.
The event successfully deepened knowledge in this specialized field, receiving positive feedback and sparking plans for future educational activities. The program was conducted with full documentation, including geo-tagged photographs and financial closure.
