Fire Safety Training at Santosh College of Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy
On 20th March 2025, a Fire Safety Training session was conducted by Mr. George at the Santosh College of Occupational Therapy (Basement) for the staff of Santosh College of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. Held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the training focused on fire risk awareness, emergency response, and safe evacuation procedures.
The session covered fire hazards in a medical college setting, proper use of fire extinguishers, and emergency evacuation protocols. Attendees included the Dean, faculty, and non-teaching staff, all of whom appreciated the hands-on approach and relevance of the training.
This initiative effectively strengthened preparedness and reinforced the importance of safety protocols, ensuring that staff are equipped to respond swiftly and effectively in the event of a fire emergency.
