Cath Lab Visit: Hands-On Learning Experience for Physiotherapy Interns
On February 28, 2025, physiotherapy interns from Santosh Deemed to be University visited the Cath Lab at Santosh Hospitals for an immersive learning experience. Organized by Prof. (Dr.) Deepak Raghav and conducted by Dr. Ashutosh, the visit provided interns with firsthand exposure to cardiovascular procedures such as angioplasty and stenting. They gained insights into the role of physiotherapy in cardiovascular rehabilitation, observed advanced medical equipment, and interacted with cardiologists and Cath Lab staff. The session received highly positive feedback, reinforcing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in patient care and rehabilitation. Future visits are planned to enhance clinical learning.
