A skill enhancement programme was conducted for studentson2/11/22(3.00pm–4.00pm) in the Hall C of Santosh Medical College
Objectives:
1.To give an overview of periodontal splinting to students so that they are able to assess the patient clinically and do the needful.
2.To provide adequate training to the students to develop the skill of splinting.
Proceedings:
The presentation on Periodontal Splinting delivered by Dr Priyanka Aggarwal, emphasized onprinciple, indications, contraindications and techniques of splinting. It was followed by demonstration of Essig’swiring and composite wire splinting on models. Dr. Shweta Bali(HOD), along with Dr. Amit Garg (Prof), DrArunaNautiyal (Senior Lecturer) and Mrs.RakhiVarshney (Dental Hygienist)actively participated in the programme.22students participated in the conclave.
Outcome:
Itwasinformative,participatoryandwellconductedsession.
