The Department of Immunohaematology, Blood Transfusion, and Pathology at Santosh Medical College Hospital organized a poster competition during "Thalassemia Awareness Week" to educate the community about this genetic blood disorder. Held on May 8th, 2024, in honor of World Thalassemia Day, the event saw enthusiastic participation from paramedical students who presented their posters and engaged in an insightful evaluation session with medical experts. The top three posters were awarded, and the competition successfully promoted lifelong learning, fostering both research and the exchange of knowledge on thalassemia treatment, research, and support resources.
