World Diabetic Day Camp

On World Diabetes Day, a Diabetic Awareness Camp was organized on 16th November 2024 at J-Block Park, Pratap Vihar, Ghaziabad. Hosted by the Department of Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics under General Medicine at Santosh Medical College and Hospital, the camp aimed to raise awareness about diabetes prevention, management, and early detection. Activities included free health screenings, personalized diet counseling, healthy snack presentations, and educational demonstrations on diabetic emergency kits and the benefits of millets. Over 53 participants gained valuable health insights, with positive feedback highlighting the effectiveness of the diet counseling. The camp successfully empowered the community to make healthier choices and manage diabetes better.
