World Diabetes Day Report

On 14th November 2024, an awareness session was organized at the Community Health Centre, Bamheta, Ghaziabad, by the Department of Community Medicine, Santosh Medical College, in collaboration with the Department of Pharmacology. The session aimed to educate around 25-30 attendees, including patients with non-communicable diseases like Diabetes, Hypertension, and Dyslipidemia. A skit, supported by colorful charts, explained the types, causes, symptoms, complications, and prevention of diabetes. Participants were encouraged to adopt healthy eating habits, regular checkups, and lifestyle changes. The session concluded with a Q&A to address concerns and emphasize the importance of diabetes management and prevention.
