Trainings Conducted in October 2024 at Blood Centre, IHBT Department

The Department of Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion (IHBT) conducted paramedical training programs in October 2024, focusing on two critical topics: TTI (Transfusion Transmitted Infections) Screening and Troubleshooting on October 17, and Disposal of Empty/Infected Blood Bags and Autoclave Procedures on October 24. Led by expert trainers, the sessions emphasized blood safety, troubleshooting techniques, biohazard regulations, and autoclave operations. Participants included 4 teachers, 10 non-teaching staff, and 6 students. The training enhanced participants' skills and knowledge, ensuring adherence to safety standards and improving blood bank operations. The program's success underscores the department's commitment to excellence in patient care and safety.
