PhacoWet Lab Session

The Phaco Wet Lab Session, organized by the Department of Ophthalmology at Santosh Hospital from October 14-16, 2024, under the guidance of HOD Dr. Sarita Aggarwal, offered hands-on training in phacoemulsification techniques for ophthalmology residents. The workshop featured lectures, live demonstrations by expert surgeons, hands-on practice with wet lab models, and feedback sessions. Participants gained confidence in performing cataract surgeries, mastered incision techniques, and enhanced their understanding of surgical instruments. The session fostered collaboration and received positive feedback for its practical approach. This successful initiative emphasized continuous learning and the department’s dedication to advancing ophthalmic surgical skills.
