International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day

The Department of Psychiatry at Santosh Deemed to be University, Ghaziabad, NCR Delhi, organized an event to commemorate International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day on November 27, 2024. The event was led by a team of distinguished faculty, including Dr. A.K. Seth (Prof & HOD), and supported by junior residents and paramedical students. The program highlighted the significance of mental health awareness and suicide prevention in India, addressing societal stigma, creating awareness, and fostering community support. Through workshops, campaigns, and seminars, the initiative provided a platform for survivors to heal, reflect, and advocate for stronger mental health policies and resources.
