On November 6, 2024, the Blood Centre at Santosh Medical College and Hospital hosted a Blood Donation Camp to mark International Pathology Day. The event aimed to promote voluntary blood donation, raise awareness about its life-saving significance, and address the ongoing need for a safe blood supply. Attended by students, faculty, and local residents, the camp successfully collected 23 blood units, with over 50% of donors participating for the first time. The process included registration, health screening, donation, and post-donation care. This impactful initiative strengthened community engagement and emphasized the importance of regular blood donation to save lives.
