39th EYE DONATION FORTNIGHT

The 39th Eye Donation Fortnight was observed at Santosh Hospital, Ghaziabad, from 25th August to 8th September 2024, under the guidance of Dr. Sarita Aggarwal, Head of the Ophthalmology Department. The event saw the participation of 10 teachers and 54 students and aimed to raise awareness about the importance of eye donation. Activities included lectures, street plays (Nukkad Natak), slogan and poster competitions, community outreach camps, and wet lab sessions for postgraduate students. The event concluded with speeches from prominent hospital members, highlighting the significance of eye donation. The fortnight was a resounding success, inspiring the community to support this noble cause.
